My computer screen won't turn on, but the power light is blue?
My computer screen is completely back, but the computer is on & so is the screen's power, both of which are blue. What is wrong?
I've heard something about the memory card, RAM, etc., but I'm helpless when it comes to computers. Can someone please explain it to me in "easier" terms?
It seems like you are not getting a video signal from your computer to your screen.
What you should check first is the connection from your screen to the back of the computer. There should be a blue connector that plugs in to the back of your screen and also on the back of your computer. Disconnect it and plug it back in again on both sides of the cable, and see if this fixes the problem. Try turning the monitor off and back on again if this still doesn't work. DO NOT mess with the RAM in your computer yet, that usually doesn't have anything to do with your screen. Hope this helps.
