2000 dodge caravan ac prob. low presure side gets way to high causing clutch to squeal on cycle. Any ideas?
i have changed the compressor 3 times the expasion valve twice the drier twice, the same problem ocurs every time. the system seems to charge fine ( the clutch never cycles off/on during recharge) if the system is allowed to run the presure on both the high side and low side are in the normal range ( the clutch however never cycles). When the ac system is shut down the low side presure goes crazy way above 100 psi the high side seems to stabalize were it should. When the ac system is started the clutch squeals (slips) trying to overcome the excessive pressure but when it does engage the system seems to be fine. I would apprciate any and all adive.

the only thing that i can think of that might cause that is the expansion valve or the system may have water or moisture in it,i haven't seen one do this in a while,the only other time i have seen this problem was from a bad compressor,and you already changed that out,,if they didn't vacuum pull the system down real good ,its possible it has water trapped in it,and that will cause this to happen,good luck on it.
