how do you reset the hydraulic clutch on a Chevy 305 cu in. pick up truck. ?
i can't shift, b-cuz there is not pressure on the clutch.
There is no "reset". Check to make sure you have fluid in its master cylinder, which is mounted near the brake master cylinder and uses brake fluid as well. They are pretty much self-bleeding, but you could open the bleeder screw (down on the trans) and let the fluid flow through for a bit... just make sure you dont run the master cylinder dry. If the fluid is ok, then have a friend push the pedal in while you watch the slave cylinder for movement; it should push out about an inch. If it does, its new clutch time as the problem is internal. If it doesn't, the replace the master cylinder and bleed it.
