could a 3s-fe push 210 bhp?
with moderate porting,10:1 comp forged pistons, forged H-beam rods, balanced & cryo-treated rods & crank, crank scraper, windage tray, mpg & low end torque cam for max torque at 3200-3600 & max hp at 5400-5800, tune, long tube headers & an intake tuned for the low end torque, proper sized injectors.
would 210 bhp be reasonable at 10:1 compression 2.0L 4 valves, cammed for low end torque/mpg, tuned, & built? NA
yea but its an ultra reliable engine.
The Toyota Carina in BTCC trim which was little more than production spec with a straight through exhaust was putting out 270bhp.
It seems like an awful lot of money to be throwing at a pretty standard sort of engine.
