For the sockets, it has shallow.

Should I also a a set of deep sockets as well? SAE and metric, or just one? Are semi deep sockets good?

I need some advice.

If I do buy it, it's probably going to be Craftsman.

Best Advice
Get a locking tool chest and a heavy beastly chain and Thick Wire type of chain like an expensive
Get the best and easiest lock to use you can find.
Lock it up when your not in the shop
Just explain to people its a force of Habit you learned somewhere like the military or high school so they will not be offended your locking your stuff up.
Get the expensive snap on deep well sockets
and the cheap craftsman shallow well
The craftsman deep well sockets are constantly splitting on me.
Most of the new stuff is all metric. but I work on the old stuff so the metric stuff takes a back seat.
12 points basically suck they strip more bolt heads than the six.
Make sure you get a good set of torx screw drivers and sockets the smaller sizes at least.
you know the star shaped stuff torx or torqs however its spelled.

Get a good universal joint 3/8 you wouldn't believe how valuable these are to have and all different assortments of extensions and screw drivers of every different size.

You've got a good starter set just keep adding to it and you'll be set. You may want to get a cheap set of air tools to start with. at least an air ratchet. ant oil them before every use. A shot of WD 40 get a big ol can with a fold down straw. in the air inlet. I love the fold down straw I allways used to loose the damn straw.
2.5 double faced engine hammer or sledge for those micro adjustments or attitude adjustments.
