How does a pipeline post trenching machine work?
I am currently working on the installation of pipeline and wants to understand how a post trencher works.
i don't know about a "post" trencher, but i have been involved with pipe trenching equipment.
It is self powered machine with a large rotating wheel which is parallel to the direction of the pipe being laid.
The wheel has cutting teeth along its circumference which will dig up the ground and deposit the soil to one side or both sides of the trench being dug.
The width of the trench depends on the size of the pipe being laid down and the diameter of the wheel will determine the pipe's depth.
