What type of inflation does the fed go after the most, demand pull or cost push inflation. Also?
In this current environment I noticed a few things. If the Fed increases fed funds wouldn't that make our make our assets cheaper opening up the possibility for sovereign nation funds to put more money into convertible proffered offerings like Dubai did with citigroup? Also another question .why would the fed want to decrease productive capacity, isn't it deflationary to decrease cost because of efficency? Last question demand pull , cost push which does the fed attack
