Converting an old VW Beetle to a Diesel Engine?
Taken the low weight of the original bug, and the new bio-diesels and new diesel technologies, what would be good after market diesel engine to place in a Volkswagen?
I have an idea to try a Kubota 35hp, for sheer simplicity and reliability.
How about a newer, or older for that mater, vw diesel, or if you can find one, they used to put cummins diesels in mail jeeps, and I think it is common for land cruiser owners to do the swap.
