Where can I find detailed instructions about fuel tank reinstallation on a 1997 Chevy Blazer?
I've recently replaced my fuel tank and fuel pump and I put the fuel pump into the new fuel tank. However, when attempting to put the tank back into the vehicle, the fill tubes (where the gas comes in when you pump it at the gas pump) will not fit all the way down into the tank. Additionally, the straps will not secure the tank. While it appears that I can push the tank up vertically to finish installation, the tank is hitting the metal of the underside of the vehicle. Is there some trick I am missing?
go to autozone and get a haynes manual... check out the website it might tell ya alot but not as much.... but its free
