Why can't we get any privacy in public restrooms?
You can't take a decent dump in a public restroom in the US without feeling (and often being right) that everyone that comes in can see you through the gaps. Not to mention that the locks can be unhooked with a simple shove.
In other countries, toilet stalls are full stalls with a full door that goes all the way to the floor. IThere is no 3" gap in between the fabrication or a 8" gap from the floor to the door. t's a fully enclosed and private space.
Why can't we have that in the US? Is it due to homophobia? Are people in the US afraid that private stalls are going to be havens for gay activity?
Or is it simply a matter of economics and cheap fabrication?
What gives?
I travel a lot, and after 12 hours in a plane, sometimes you can't hold it. So spare your "hold it" comments.
Why don't you hold it until you get back home?
