91 honda civic having a problem removing the alternator for engine compartment?

ok i just got back from Iraq and went to start my car and alternator is seized up, went out bought a new one, took all the bolts out, but i cant remove it from the under the hood. i have steering linkage on the bottom, fender on the side, brake master cylinder on top, and engine and crankshaft on the other side,,,any tips?
hey if i jack up the car, will that lower the suspension enough to slide it out the bottom?

You can take out by removing the driver side axle, and taking it out of the driver side wheel well. Another way is by slightly moving the brake lines to the the master cylinder and pulling out to the left of the intake manifold. You can also remove it by bring it to the passenger side of the intake manifold, disconnect some of the hoses over there, and remove it there.
